About the Series:
Having a positive learning culture in school is important for students’ learning. Studies show that students who lack social-emotional skills are become less willing to participate in learning. This demotivated attitude and disconnected thought could adversely affect students’ academic performance, peer relationship, emotional development and even health. In view of this, creating a positive learning environment could be an effective strategy to reduce stress and anxiety; and strengthen self-efficacy, self-esteem and optimism for students. This workshop series will provide participants with an overview of positive education, strategies on application of positive education for promotion of happiness and well-being in school.
