Speakers from NCS Task Force


To keep the Council teaching staff members abreast of effective teaching strategies and counseling support services for handling Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) learners, the NCS Task Force will invite experienced teachers from time to time to share their knowledge, experiences and teaching strategies for teaching and handling NCS learners. This serves as a starting point for building a learning community among the involved VTC teachers.

This first seminar organised by the Task Force aims to assist both new and experienced teachers to adapt to teaching Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) learners. Experienced colleagues from various units of the Council will share their knowledge and experience about the cultural backgrounds, characteristics and learning styles of different ethnic groups. They will also share resources, cases and strategies of handling NCS students. Details of the event are as below:
